Frequently asked questions about invoicing in Israel

In short: Quickly Invoice (חשבון מהיר) is an Israeli invoicing app in Hebrew and Arabic. Freelancers and businesses use it to issue tax invoices, tax invoice-receipts, receipts and price quotes from a phone or computer, and send them to customers on WhatsApp or by email. Up to 10 documents a month are free. The system is approved by the Israel Tax Authority (certificate no. 250501).

Can I really issue invoices for free?

What is an allocation number, and when do I need one?

An allocation number (mispar haktzaa) is a number the Israel Tax Authority assigns to a tax invoice under the "Israel Invoices" model. Without it, a business customer cannot deduct the VAT on the invoice. Since June 1, 2026 it is required on every tax invoice above ₪5,000 before VAT. On the Quickly Invoice full plan, the allocation number is added to the invoice automatically. Full guide to allocation numbers
